In my opinion some people struggle with that challenge because they don’t understand clipping of mirror modifier. When you understand how clipping works, that lesson becomes way more easier and fun.

Thank you for the tip. You are right. How would explain clipping of the mirror modifier so students can understand it more?
First of all, they need to watch the entire lesson, some people just freak out when things don’t work and don’t watch the entire lesson(I also do this a few times in the past).
Besides that, they need to keep atention with the object rotation and check if the clipping is marked.
