Multiple Animations

Following this course it shows how to create a Mixamo animation and then import it back into Blender superb!

What if I wanted two or three animations of the same character?

Would I just download each one from Mixamo and import them all into the same blender file?

Would they then all need to be separately textured?

Not an area, Mixamo use, I know much about. However I believe you can download a second animation, import it, then delete it. Leaving the animation data behind. I guess that would work making a textured character have additional moves to use. Others may well be able to say more or better.

Blender animation has a feature called the NLA-editor.
Not really discussed in the courses. The UI is difficult to understand.
But basically, you can mix, loop and reuse created (downloaded) animations.

You create an animation walk of one walking cycle.
With NLA you can repeat this., even make it slower faster. Making the puppet walk on the street.
Another animation is waving with the arms.
With the NLA editor, you can merge both animations together. Walking and waving.

But the interface is a bit cumbersome.
