If Ben is right, then Mac users are a minority. But this may help anyone who wants to capture screen videos on Mac for free.
This uses Quicktime Player (included with nearly all versions of macOS or OS X or Mac OS X) to do the recording. It uses iShowU Audio Capture to route sound.
And it uses Handbrake for transcoding Apple Quicktime (.mov file) into MP4.
