While looking around online at Gothic Cathedrals, I came across a beautiful modern gothic style cathedral in Iceland and decided that I would like to model it for this section.
See below some sketches of how I think that the structure works. As well as a page that I put together of images of the actual building that I found online.
I am planning to model the following to enhance the scene:
- Main cathedral building (church portion only)
- pew or bench
- high back chairs for raised area
- alter
- lectern / podium
- add in some spot lights to the top of the main columns (up / down lights)
