Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a mobile game project and planning to monetize it through in-game ads. I’ve been researching different ad networks, and two of the most popular options I keep seeing are Unity Ads and Google AdMob.
From what I understand:
- Unity Ads is well-integrated with the Unity engine and seems optimized for rewarded video ads.
- AdMob offers a massive advertiser network, better fill rates in some regions, and strong analytics.
However, I’ve also heard mixed opinions about eCPM rates, user experience, and payout reliability for both platforms.
Another idea I’m considering is to collaborate with reputable third-party game download websites like ModHello.Net or similar platforms). They already have large gaming audiences and might be a good channel for promotion and indirect monetization.
So I’m wondering:
- Which platform do you think works better for monetizing mobile games?
- Have you tried combining multiple ad networks with mediation?
- Have you had success partnering with game distribution websites as part of your monetization strategy?
Any insights, personal experiences, or recommendations would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
