I restarted my engine (working in Unreal 5), and upon restarting my missiles no longer destroy on impact and my smoke trail emits from some random point on the ground. The missiles remain in space despite having my code intact and unchanged from the end of the particle trail lesson. I have scoured through the lessons again to see if there is some specific collision setting on some object that I need to modify but I can’t figure it out. A solution to this would be awesome. Also, generally, Unreal 5 keeps resetting everything with this file upon closing and opening Unreal. It is extremely frustrating. I am not sure if it has to do with Unreal 5 specifically or just this file in particular. Please help!

Hey Kurtholus
I ran the “Run Build Task” (ctrl+shift+b) with the “ToonTanksEditor Win64 Developemnt Build” settings.
Then in my ToonTanks folder i right clicked the “Unreal Engine Project” file and clicked the “Generate Visual Studio project files” option.
Then opened the project again and everything worked.
Hope this helps.
