Misaligned aiming and glitchy movement

Hi all,

I have recently finished L268 Aming Our 1st Person Camera in the Testing Grounds section of the Unreal Course and I have a couple of issues.

1. Misaligned aiming
Ever since we refactored to a gun actor in L251, my gun points and shoots slightly down and to the left relative to the crosshair. I have tried moving the rotation/location of a various components to try and re-align these directions but nothing seems to work. I have seen a number of people comment with the same issue since that lecture but I haven’t seen a solution that works. It’s not game breaking but it is certainly frustrating, so if anyone could offer a solution it would be much appreciated.

2. Glitchy movement
After finishing this lecture (L265 as mentioned above), I have a glitch whereby if I strafe left/right, or move backwards, the camera shifts around. It’s like the game is switching between one camera when I’m standing still, and a slightly offset camera when I’m moving. It makes the game feel very jerky so any advice would be appreciated.

On point 2, I get the same thing. I’m hoping we fix that in a later lecture?
