I think it’s quite a minimal design - the bolt joints being clearly visible as well as the singular-section idea seem to speak of minimalism; that this design is bare bones and almost rudimentary. That’s what I think anyway.
Best of all, in a practical sense, this lamp’s stem could almost fold in on itself for easy storage! May have to make that a thing when we get to that point of the build…
