Might be a dumb question, whats the front of the fireball?

is it the pointy end or the wide end?

I used the wide end, as I thought the flames would be trailing off behind.

Yeah definitely helps, thank you. How did you take a screen like that? did you slow down fireball or pause somehow?

Yup. Exactly.
Just started the game (play button) and paused the action (middle button) when the fireball was on screen.

Then just pressed the frame advance (right button) to get a good example picture.
And then took a screen shot.
