I love the colours, they look so good together! The only thing I would suggest is maybe making the chair a bit lower as there’s not much space left for the legs, and placing the desk by the wall as we rarely have furniture like that in the middle of the room (unless that’s the design you aimed for) 
Overall, I think it’s a well balanced scene and I love all the clutter on the desk, especially the pencils! I can tell you spent a good amount of time putting everything together, I think you did a very good job!
P.S. I don’t have the patience for Cycles too! I always render in Eevee lol

You can lower the sample rate, but then it gets noisier.
But than, switch on the denoiser for Cycles.
You will learn. Have fun!
