First word comes to mind looking at this scene ,LONELY!
Maybe it was a happy accident maybe not.
Anyway nice work.And enjoy it while you use blender,Its suppose to be fun and encouraging!Better yet make something you love in blender!You can rework what you make while you progress in the course if you want.Making something you love, something that inspires you will always work great.
And as FedPete said increasing the lighting will make the scene much more amazing.

Lonely was the intended effect and maybe sometime i will add a low hanging fog, i animated the light spinning but had some issues with where it hit compared to where the light was in the tower.
