Mid Section challenge: A Neighborhood at Night

This is my first attempt at making terrain for my models, and not just on a plane. One of the criticisms I got from my first post was that I needed to use references to get the scale of different models correct. I tried extra hard to get the scale of all the different models to match but don’t think I did it perfectly. For my second complete render, I am very happy with how this turned out.

Very nicely done. Well lit for a night effect too.

Nothing jumps out as out of scale so you did a good job being in control of that too.
Nice touch with the wave in the fence height, would have been easy to have just let it be flat topped, but less effective.

Blender defaults now on1 meter grid. So you can use the grid to make the scale right.

If you add a cube it has the Blender unit size of one. 1 unit up, 1 unit down, 1 unit left, etc.
This cube has therefor a size of 2 units (meters).

Another trick is to create a figure of about 1.80 height. And use that as a reference in your scene.

Have fun and have created a really nice (good scale) night scene.
