This course was amazing! I started using Blender exactly because I wanted to be able to create these kind of 3D worlds and when I saw that Grant had this tutorial available I had to snatch it up. I’ve learned all by basics from him from his free YouTube videos and this was the cherry on top.
I’m really happy with how this turned out, especially considering I only started learning how to use Blender last Monday. 
I think I spent even more time futzing around with the island than doing the course! But in the end it was worth it. I used the various elements that I had created during the course to create other things like market stalls, a well and a dock. If you follow Grant’s other tutorials you might be able to spot some other things I learned from his videos on my island.
