Thank you. question to all… is it okay just to sit through the next section and take in the info instead of doing it aswell? or is it vital I make the models aswell?

If you have a reasonable comfort already at normal modeling Mirroring etc. then yes just watch it through and move to the next section it should not affect your ‘ability’ to do the character sections.
