Finished section “Mech master”, but didn’t spend time to polish design or details for this model(because I want to get to the meaty part of the course sooner than later)

nice model to start with.
And yes it’s better to follow the course to learn the basics of Blender.
And then redo it with higher detail level and with a design on your own.
Try to do it from memory, the things you’ve learned.
It helps to speed up the model process in future projects.
