The top stair does not line up with the top landing. How can I get that even?

Hi there, It’s great that you managed to do it. In my case I did not follow the instructions properly so my staircase was not at 45 Degree angle. What I did instead is move the whole staircase object after applying the modifier to align the top edges together. At the bottom I just modified it to look as a nicer entrance where I might put some stone decorations (lions?) hehehe on the side
