Not sure if others experienced the same thing, but there were some faces that just wouldn’t sub-divide. The edges would but not the face. Tried to find out what could be causing it but didn’t ever figure it out, if you know or experienced the same thing let me know if you were able to figure it out.
Ended up just deleting the faces and dividing the edges to build back up the shape. Tedious but it worked.
