So that’s that, I love Sci fi, but I am the kind of person that prefers narrative and sword and sorcery or Dark aesthetics than shooting spaceships, so what else could I go for when departing from a spaceship scenario than a dark fantasy game in space?
Probably 0 narrative (as it would bifurcate from the focus of the project) but I would like to go for…
A 360º, SUPER SPEEDY… TIE-FIGHTER CHASE!
Core Game Features
- Movement on Rails
- Shooting
- Wave spawns
- Score
- Expendability (TIE-Fighters die a lot, so that matches the replayability aesthetics)
“Signature” Game Features
- 360º navigation
- Aproaching huge static landmarks (Inlcude a Star Destroyer or the Death star, and have rails come real close)
Signature Stretch Goals
- Unit counter (Finite Xwings and Tie-Fighters, and enable friendly fire among TIE-Fighters)
- Multiple Rails --> Allow players to change Rails mid-action to chose next direction.
- Targetable, Shields-Repairer Droid --> Activate a Droid that repairs shields on Cooldown and can get hit instead of you.
- 1st person camera inside the TIE-FIGTHER, maybe even a crosshair allign minigame for shooting
