In this lecture we look at data outliers and discuss how to spot them.
We were also introduced to a new type of chart called a scatter plot.
Being able to recognize outliers is an important skill, but there are no hard and fast rules on how to deal with them. It really depends on the question your asking about the data.
Each method has it’s pros and cons but the three common solutions are to; ignore, remove, or adjust them.
For your challenge, you were asked to spot the outliers on a scatter plot. Did you manage to find them all?
