In this lecture we looked at what happens when we plot the values for the sine, cosine, and tangent on a graph.

The cyclical nature of the sine and cosine wave come in useful all over the place in games due to the smooth cyclical pattern they create. The tangent curve is less useful but it’s interesting none the less.

In the next lecture we start looking at how to manipulate these patterns so that we can apply them to objects in our games.
