Materials gone from the meshes

So, I was going a bit hamm with the level editing… took some time to set it up and start dressing it (I wonder why XD)
Saved the progress, quit UE.
But when I restarted UE and wanted to continue, this happened…

All assete that I used, except for the floor, have had their Material Instances removed.
How do I fix this?
I tried rebuilding lighting, etc… nothing worked, rebuilt the entire level, didn’t work.

I really don’t want to open up every asset and one by one start creating a new material instance.

Verify the Quixel plugin is still installed and enabled. I had a similar problem after restoring the project from a backup. Is your MI_Small_Stones pointing to the default material? That’s what I was seeing.

It should, but the thing is, its like this with every asset that I used.
There are also MS assets I didn’t use, and thos are all still fine.
I’ll check the plugin tho

All settings where fine, I re-downloaded, and replaced everything with the new downloads…
Took a bit of work, but now all works fine again after I restart.
Weird…

Yeah that’s definitely a weird thing that occurred, but the only solution I could have given was to set the materials manually again.
