So, to make the insides of the “bucket” visible I duplicated it and inverted all the normals to the inside. So I ended up with two “buckets”, one looking inside and the other out, and both of them are visible.
Is this a viable solution? Does Blender have that function of normals on both sides that you talk about? And just for curiosity, if I wanted the outside and the inside with two different materials, how would I do it?
Sorry if I’m getting ahead of myself, these questions came naturally during the class.
Blender has a modifier, called “Solidify”.
Which makes a face a two faced object. It makes the face thick. That can be sometimes unwanted.
In that case you need to build your bucket in a different way. Many options here, really!
For example, two cylinders with a Boolean modifier, creating a pipe.
