Making A Decision


I’m currently working on a game project scope, and I’m stuck on the decision of which multiplayer model to go for. My options are MMO or standard Multiplayer (like Borderlands). My plan for this project is to create a full project scope and a small demo, containing core and unique features, and using those to pitch the idea to developers. I would greatly appreciate your opinions on this question. Here are some quick notes about the game:

Style: FPS, Open World, RPG (conversation-based decisions & action-based decisions)
Environment: Sci-fi future, Mid-apocalyptic Earth (maybe some other planets later on)
Core Features: Tactical Combat & Immersive Scavenging
Player Characters: Soldier(Tank), Assassin(DPS), Medic, Engineer(Support)
