This ice armor looks more like minecraft diamond armor hahaha. If in general, the problem with pixel art is that it is very difficult to highlight some small details in it so that the armor looks solid, then all the armor looks the same and is rather uninteresting. Even if we take 2d or 2.5d non-pixel games as an example, you can draw cool graphics there. Well, for example, diablo 2. Not only are there very beautiful sets of armor, but there is also such a thing as runewords (you can check out yesgamers.com if you want to see how it looks). You insert runes (roughly speaking stones) into armor with sockets, and it starts to glow differently, you can immediately see that the armor is buffed, which looks very cool.
