didn’t really understand how to do the knight with my current understanding

I did use a youtube tutorial to make those quick and dirty clouds

i did use multiple blend files for each model before appending them to one scene while also using a folder specifically for reference images. (I realized that when i deleted the reference image file it only left a purple image in blender)

It is good progress. Have another go at the knight, it is the trickiest item of this section.

Blender uses internally relative paths, like “…/images/frontal.jpg” and not “C:/project/ref/images/frontal.jpg”.
If an image can’t be found then Blender will show you the purple color. This happens when you move a .blend file from one folder to another.

Just open the properties panel and reload/reconnect the missing image.
