Hi,
I am trying to add macro tiling variation to my landscape material and I have some questions. I am using the macro variation texture that comes in the starter content and using that to vary the tiling. What attributes should I apply this tiling variation to? Of course, I should apply it to the base color but what about roughness, normal, world displacement,and ambient occlusion? Should I apply the macro tiling variation to all of these things or just to the base color?
I think I am not suppose to apply it to the roughness, normal and maybe others because I am getting this weird effect in the material when I do apply the tiling variation to everything. At some points the material seems like it is wet and I do not want that. Here are some pictures:
