Can a 2018 MacBook pro run blender? its the only laptop I have.

amd radeon pro 555x 4gb

I think it can.
It’s mostly the GPU drivers give some problems. But you can use CPU only too.
The Blender team is busy implementing ‘Vulcan’ driver (API) which should solve GPU card problems.
So, just install Blender and see what it does.
