It is as correct as you want it to be. The shape is still recognizable as a chess bishop. Is the ball on the top skewed? Yes. If you want it to be more accurate would you need to adjust your boolean cut? Yes. But those are personal choices for you to decide. I would say for the objective of the lesson, you are correct.
