Used some Wireframe mode to select both sides of the faces to cut through the “head” then used Bridge Edge Loops to fill the hole.
After some push pull, and creating some missing faces, finished extruding the sphere of the tip.
(Welp… there was the bool modifier but I haven’t watched the lecture about it yet lol, so some effort was wasted 
)
