I decided for mine, I wanted to go for a natural lighting + artificial lighting scene. The artificial light is a bit overpowered by the natural light, but that’s on purpose. My idea was that the chess board is directly beneath an interior light, emitting a soft, blue hue. Then, the natural lighting would either be a sunrise or a sunset coming through a window. I imagine my chess board on the table of a cafe, right next to a large, front window facing the sun.
