This is the knight I came up with. I think I’m having some issues with non planar faces (as seen by some slight creases in the render, but I’m still happy with the result. I’m considering just breaking down those faces into triangles.
Good knight.
How about eyes?
Why? the looks wouldn’t change until you randomize the verts.
And Blender does this for you, on the fly, when rendering.
Welcome!
(ps. don’t bother about performance at this level, just have fun with blender).
Continuing the discussion from Low Poly Chess Knight:
Thanks!
How about eyes?
I actually kind of like the low level of detail I’m getting with the pieces, I’m not sure yet how I’d go about adding eyes but I’ll consider it.

Just to have a bit more control over those non planar faces (they have a very slight deformation, according to blender mesh analysis at least). It doesn’t look too bad either, so I haven’t done it yet, but after I’m finished with this course I’m planning to do a game engine one so I’ll see at that point how these are handled
I like this a lot. Good work!
