Low Poly Character Course - blockouts and reference sketches

Started my second blender class, Grant Abitt’s low-poly character. Here are the first images from the process, blocking out a few shapes and colors, then sketched over an image of those shapes to develop the foundation of four distinct characters. Ditched (for now) two characters to create a reference image sketch I’ll use to further develop Child Criminal (a hairy street-wise child wearing a dress similar to one reported stolen) and Starmon (a fluffy mysterious being that fell to earth and adopted a no-bad-days lifestyle).

Finish the course and than you have a good starting point to create your own characters.
Blender has much to offer, but also a huge learning curve.

Have fun and show your progress.

Thanks FedPete! Always harder to finish the second course, but I’m determined.
