Lost my handles

Good evening.
they’re turned on on the overlays but not showing.
What am I missing here.

Edit: I messed up in the handle type section of the control points.

It may be you somehow changed the curve type.
With the curve selected, edit mode. From the ‘curve’ tab along the top go to ‘Set Spline Type’, then select Bezier.
