Lost grid, selected outline, and pivot point

I somehow lost my grid, selected-object outline, and pivot point. I’ve Googled for a solution but can’t find any up-to-date information on what I did or how to correct the issue.

Hi. I think you accidentally turned off Viewport Overlays.

I checked that repeatedly and all options were checked, but greyed out for some reason. Couldn’t find any information on why that might be happening. I finally clicked the dropdown and they were still greyed out, I clicked off of the dropdown onto an empty party of the screen, and everything turned back on. Must have just been a bug.

In your screenshot the Screenspace Overlays button is grey, indicating that this function is turned off. To turn it on, click on the icon (not the dropdown arrow).
