Loop cut doesn't create all edges

I’m referring to the step at around 9:20 in the “Simple Houses” chapter of the Complete Blender 3 course: Simple Houses | GameDev.tv

As shown in the screenshot, the loop cut does not create the edges on two of the faces, one of which is required to extrude the roof.

I’m using Blender 3.6 and did the exact steps shown in the video. Any idea what went wrong here or if there is a setting I need to change? Thanks in advance.

It ought to go round.
As it does not something is stopping it.
Most likely there is double geometry accidentally created. As the faces appear all to be quads as far as it looks.

So try selecting all with A, then M by distance. That should clear up any double geometry most likely caused by cancelled extrusions.

This worked. Thanks a lot!
