Hello Everyone. I’m just learning Godot. I’ve gotten the course Godot 4 C# Action Adventure: Build your own 2.5D RPG
Once I finish, I was hoping to find someone interested in practicing making RPGs with C# and FPS games in VR. I want to become fluent in the engine, and understand what it takes to build a full project, learning the what/where/why necessary to collaborate with others to do so. If anyone would like to be friends, please let me know! Thanks! (if there’s a place for posts like this, please advise)

Wonderful initiative! There are two things I would suggest:
- Enter a game jam. Game jams - itch.io is the hub for those, and with a little hunting, I’m sure you’ll find plenty of interest. I’d suggest a small, no-stakes, no-pressure one at first because your first jam can be pretty intimidating (also, entry into a jam does not mean you are obligated to submit something, so if the whole thing crashes and burns on you, that’s ok, just learn what you can do better for next time). GDTV even has its own game jam in the summer (which I did!). Game jams are a great way to discover exactly how fluent you are in design, coding, and problem-solving abilities. If you do it as part of a team, it will also build your collaboration skills. Speaking of teams, each jam has its own small forum where you’ll often find like-minded participants looking to partner up - seems perfect for what you’re looking for.
- The other thing you can try is hanging out in our Discord server and joining some conversations about whatever interests you. Tim seems to do a stream every Wednesday as well; you can find out more in the Announcements channel on the server.
Good luck!

Thanks for the encouraging info!
I’ve seen lots of cool things come out of game jams. I guess it’ll be time to give one a shot soon!!
