Lizard Y Axis not updating

Hello there!

I have been trying for an hour and i give up…

When i increase the lizard’s or it’s child body’s Y axis to make it fit neatly between the lane, nothing happens. I have updated the prefabs, deleted and recreated them. I could just raise the Spawners game object but i would really like to know why this is not working…

Unfortunately, I’m not sure if I understood your problem correctly. In your game window, there is a cactus. That instantiated Lizards do not have much to do with the prefab. If you change the prefab during runtime, the instantiated Lizards will not change its position.

The x- and y-position of the child should be close to 0.

I guess it would be easier to point out that i am trying to do what Rick did in this lecture between minutes 6:37 and 6:52. Whether i drag the body upwards or change the transform i can not get the Lizards to align with the lanes :confused:

Which Lizard? Your screenshots show the prefab mode, thus you were editing the prefab, not the Lizard(s) in the scene.

I managed to solve it after a while ^^

Problem was i had the animation applied to the Lizard object and not its Body child.

Now when i increment the prefab Y value by a smidge the spawned lizards finally walk within the squares lines!
