Hey Team,
I liked “object” coordinates more than UV coordinates due to how it applied on my convex bevel.
I also went ahead and found marble and obsidian textures for the squares. I’ll likely find some granite or other material to texture the pieces once we’ve finished them.
Oh, also, I had to separate my board into two parts in order to get the hard line on the corner.
Edit mode
Deselect All
Z for wire frame
1 for front view
5 ortho
C select
grab all faces
P to separate into two halves
Add empty
Set Parent/Child for my board frame pieces
