Light testing - Abandoned Well

I must say I don’t really got how lighting works but I played little
First the original objective:

Then I Moved those around 90 degree clock wise:

And added some more lights: (file naming is incorrect, there is 5 point and 1 spot light)

In my opinion the last one looks nicest. There is one point light under the roof that give somewhat
smoother? area top of the well. Also I liked that spot light are pointed to background so it is not that dark.

And here I am messing up with pictures. Looks like there is spot light on in both 2nd and 3rd pic.

Lighting can make scenes look good. It takes time and practice to find a result you like.

Beautiful lighting! It definitely pays to play around with it

Some upfront knowledge: Eevee and Cycles are different render engines.
Eevee is fast because some options are very simple implemented by default, like shadows.
You need to switch on more shadow options in Eevee.
Because it’s outside you could use a sun lamp type.

Nice take on a well project: Well done (or rather undone due to age…)
