LibreSprite for Linux is available at the following URL using Flatpak to install. I was able to install it without any issues, and it should likewise install easily for almost any Linux distro.

The reality is that CentOS 7 is already an old OS, and its support ended a couple of years back. There are many different Linux branches you could use with equally as many destop environments, but I’d suggest Linux users use Debian 11/12 with the Gnome 3 / Weyland desktop. I’ve used Debian for the past seven years, and except for a couple of driver issues, it has been a stable platform to run game dev applications, such as Jetbrains CLion, VSC, UE5, Unity, Gimp, Godot, Blender, Reaper, FMod studio, and many more.
