Lesson 44 - Importing Reference Material - Another Way

Obviously I couldn’t load a video here in the discussion because the file was to big. So I went back to my YouTube account and uploaded a short video on how I went about it. While I think that the way the professor did it in this lesson was the quick and easy way. It was too easy. Now the way I am showing how to do it is a bit lengthy. I feel that it give you or I more control over the image.

I used this image also. But edited out the paper, and brought it in as a png. In the Object data panel I checked the alpha channel box for additional transparency. Converted inches into mm’s for the pin height using a cylinder behind the pin image. Probably the same difference overall.
