I decided to create an old western building for my Lesson 15 challenge
I couldn’t find the text in Blender 2.8, otherwise I would’ve added something like “General Store” on the sign. I hope you all like it!

Nice work! Mayby instead of Blender text, a bit map?
Blender preferences > Add Ons > Import-Export: Import images as planes
If preferences saved and activated.
There is is new mesh menu items called : images > Images as planes.
Thanks for the kind words and the tip! I’ll have to look into that for sure.
another way to ad the text is to add a “Text” object. doing so will allow you to make the text 3 dimensional.
