How are you enjoying animating?

This is really fun. I can’t wait until I have time to work out the kinks of the animation with the dope sheet and timeline tools.

It’s going to be lots of fun!

Nice test. Time for the full version?

I think I will have to move to a render farm as my desktop was not really built for this kind of processing. This render took about an hour and left my PC uncomfortably warm.

If concerned about the warmth of your pc then might be best. But one hour is nothing in render time. I recently posted a small turntable animation that took me 20 hours.

Hi. Yes. The PC gets too hot. I understand that 1 hour of render time is not that much but as mentioned I am more concerned about the physical equipment that was not really designed to run this kind of work. I will hopefully be able to move to a more modern PC soon.

I run render jobs at night, using image frames, not video.
Then I can easily abort the render process and restart.
When all image frames are rendered then I create the move, using Blender video.
It’s very easy to do.

Thanks FedPete. I also use this method of rendering as image frames. I just don’t have the best computer for this type of processing. Hopefully next year I will have an updated machine with some additional graphics processing capability.
