Lecture 71 ... Snap problem

Hi! I have a problem to place the little sphere on the top of the bishop. When i grab the sphere and move it to the top vertex of the bishop (using snap to vertex), the two vertices do not fit. Screenshot:

Both meshes need to be in one single mesh object.
Select both meshed (orange selected), and JOIN them Ctrl+J.
