You can use MAIN MENU > WINDOWS > SAVE SCREENSHOT

I just use the snip tool for screen grabs, so I can copy a pic somewhere without saving or save wherever I want the file. Noted tip though

But for Blender related questions, we need more than a partial window cut.
Blender screen shot grabs all important windows.

I never knew that! I also used the windows snip tool. You can learn some useful stuff from reading other people’s posts
