I couldn’t figure out the problem after I spent 1.5hrs straight on it. First thing is first…
There seems to be a new swarm program feature and that said my issues are as follows -

I saw several solutions online but none of them worked. I adjusted the public dependency module with “GameplayTasks” as several suggested it but I think that’s unrelated to my issue. I have compiled, rebuilt and pretty much everything I can think of. I think I’m close to fixing it but I just wanted to put it in here in case I can’t. Also, the game runs and works perfectly, it’s only when I click the launch button to create the exe file.

Am seeing a few references to error code 5 (or result code 5) in those logs. On a windows system (if Unreal is using Windows error codes) is ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED which is typically a permissions issue.

Do you have write permissions for your target folder ? Have you tried building to a different folder, maybe even to a different volume ?

Permissions are all allowed on the files. I tested an older version of the game and it launched without problems but it’s a much older version. I have tried copying and pasting the project into a different file, more associated with unreal. I actually put it into the same folder as the older version that works properly but I still get the same error.

Alright, I redownloaded Visual Studio and rebuilt much of the project. It seems that my recent changes have been reverted which is ok but the problem still exists. I’m not sure why the errors exist or how to fix it sadly. The version that used to work is also now broken from trying to merge the projects to bring the very old copy up to speed, probably a version difference.

I wanted to provide an update on what I’ve discovered so far. I have updated the whole engine and all the files parsed and my progress has returned without issues or missing files. A lot of the codes are related to missing files or connections to those files? From what I have found there are people with the same issues and it has something to do with the code but I’m still not sure what. Maybe something on an #include or symbol missing?
