I completed my Laser Defender clone and since it is the first game that I spent extra time on I uploaded it for you to try.

Hey Jacob,
I really enjoyed your take on the game. By your title I feel your pain at creating something every student before has done, but you’ve made this one your own. Your addition of the 3d planet and asteroid field was I thought visually impressive as well as the moon that swung by between levels. I especially liked your effect of the ships breaking apart upon being destroyed. I could have used some variation on the formations and it might have been nice to have some kind of feedback for my ship health. That withstanding, I think you’ve done yourself proud. Well done. I look forward to see other of your projects.
