Theme: Top Down Airplane shooter
Name: Dogfight Scramble
Description: A game which involves a single plane shooting down other enemy planes (which varies based on the country/location is based from). The player is the only one left standing, and it must ensure that the majority of enemy planes is taken out to make up for the ally team’s loss in air support.
Mechanics are the same as GameDev.tv’s chosen design but with a different art & theme:

Author’s Note:
It’s not that original, but this is just my idea of a top-down game I’d like to create. I could make a few things that are different from what we’re doing in this course like implementing different attack patterns based on what type the enemy plane is (something like Touhou sort of does in their series), but I’ll just be sticking to what the instructors use in this course for now. If I learn more about drawing my own sprites (likely with Aesprite), I could reimplement everything to where my custom game is more original to everyone else’s! Maybe I could change the theme to my game depending on where I go with it.
