I am getting a lot of noise on the backdrop and it’s green like lamp. Any ideas why? I am working on a fairly weak computer. Also my sampling rate is low.
thank you.
This is a node issue. I forgot which setting, exactly, but if you try to give it too little mirror (but mirror nonetheless), you’ll have it give a lot of noise. This is normal. Your best bet is to fiddle with the settings to reduce it. And play with the mixer–this has a big effect on noise. You could, alternatively, have it de-noise the lamp, but that’s best if not over-used and it takes a toll on rendering performance. I only use 64 samples and my lamp comes out just fine.

thank you, very much… I have played with the glossy and mix shaders. Also i found out that majority of noise was created by the too high emission of the light bulb in the lamp.
Yup, as expected. Happy that you figured it out.
