Here is my design idea for the Animated Lamp. I have done this in the 2.7 version so I am going to try to make a little more detail in the props. The lamp will jump onto a table and look around. I have a floor which i may make marble using noise textures. I am thinking about adding a wall in the background but will wait and see how much render time will be added for the objects so far.
Here is my design layout idea roughly done in a blender file. The lamp is simple building blocks as is the table for now.
